What Next? November Throughts (Patreon)

November is upon us! And that means the SDJ background promotion is over. Fans still looking to get characters into the game backgrounds can check out the Kickstarter for one last hurrah before all availability is closer for good!

This month we’re going to take it sleazy. I (Sauce) plan to continue to work on Sunny Day Jack. I will admit once we achieve funding it will be a rocket to the finish line. I love the project but also know that I would like to try so many more new things. So updates will come as they do and once the game is out, it’s out!

Patreon content may get experimental in the gap from here to there. That’s just because we can’t upload demo updates! That’d be spoilers and we can polish the original demo but the game is planned to drop in a full, finished state.

AphroDesia is in a weird creative place at the moment. The script writer has continued to remain on hiatus because the last episode took a lot out of them, so we’re just waiting for their health to improve. But it might be a good time to reflect on what it is that hasn’t worked, and slowly uprooting this originally ad-libbed fictional world and cleaning it up.

I may take some Patreon commissions? If that’s a thing? Visual novel/dating sim sprites. Something’s gone off about my ability to work and right now and I’ve got to also juggle helping my partner pay for tuition. So we will see how that turns out!

Other than that, I will continue to rest. I may have had a respiratory infection, which had made breathing particularly painful and difficult for two or so weeks. And I’d just like to sit on the vine and ripen like a grape, doing my work and updating you all as I go.
