Paid Hourly Work - Notice of Transparency (Patreon)

Hey everyone! This is JambeeBot again!

For the last few months I have been organizing, producing, and managing SnaccPop content in between balancing full time work, commissions, and patreon rewards.

I will be attending animation school soon. And I plan to use the class to contribute to SP animated projects but for now I’m in between two countries and unable to find work that will hire me until then.

I have decided to begin clocking my work (be it “coding” the SDJ demo, making sprites, drawing every Patreon reward, making video trailers and adding subtitles and such) at $15.00 an hour, with a cap of eight hours a day.

Not so much that I take up too much and I can separate SP work from my school life! But enough to mean I’m able to live and prioritize SP work because it’s a full time job.

Our VAs and artists still get paid their rates as private contractors, so don’t worry! We still want to support paying pro-industry worker set rates.

I am just letting you all know that I will be managing SPS, AphroDesia, and Sunny Day Jack as a job when I am able to. I don’t like personally profiting for fear of seeming greedy, but if I am unable to sustain myself I cannot be functional to make these projects even better.

That being said full time managing the Patreon will also be observed so. Who knows? Maybe even better rewards will be available soon!

IN SHORT: $15.00 an hour, max. 56 hours a week WITH TIMESHEETS AND WORK COMPLETED LOGS will be used so JambeeBot can maintain a manageable living while dedicating more time to SnaccPop productions. All other workers will continue to set their own rates.
