BEHIND THE SCENES - The SCRAPPED APHRODESIA DATING SIM/VIRTUAL COMPANION (Patreon)

A LOVEBUG TIER EXCLUSIVE!

Since before AphroDesia was a project, series director @Jambeebot (me, writing this post~!) had been toying with the idea of a virtual companion app. An NSFW digital pet that was meant to keep you company. 

This idle companion would cry for attention and be there while the player works in the background.

This idea was ACTUALLY proposed, eventually, as an AphroDesia rendition as well. The following screenshots are mockups of gameplay, and LOVEBUG TIER patrons can actually examine the game pitch!

We have considered keeping with the idea. Unfortunately, the idea is a bit more complicated to execute than necessary. The following should be noted:

- It has nothing to do with the actual AD visual novel being worked on. It is not tied to a specific developer and crowdfunding options can be examined!

- It was originally very microtransaction heavy, in order to make up the sunk costs. But if crowdfunding did ever happen it would be for a full scope of the game, and would axe the heavy microtransactions in favor of an all-at-once crowdsourcing model.
