It's been a long while since I asked for feedback on this Patreon, so here we go!

I'd love to hear some feedback on any aspect of the Patreon! Let me know what you like, or what you think could be improved! I hope to hear from everyone in some way, but of course, there's no pressure. :)

Thanks for making this happen! I look forward to reading your comments. :)

I think you run this Patreon thingy pretty darn well. It shows in your art that you're feeling a bit freer since you stopped doing your commissions. Just keep up the good work, and try to always have fun with it. Now that you've hit $2000, do we have a new goal?

RoninDude

Thanks, Edward! I really feel like I can take my time to improve, instead of feeling rushed to pump out the next piece. It's a good feeling, and I am glad that my improvements are showing. :) As for the next goal, I was just thinking about that! Thing is, when I made the $2k goal, it seemed so far off, I hadn't considered the after goals! I just wanted to make a comic... I still do, but now I have a ton of other ideas to choose from, such as making a small indy game, visual novel, art books, etc... It's become hard to choose! On top of that, I have some personal artistic exploration I'd like to do, to improve my skills. Making goals is important, though, so I will be putting some thought into the next goal. Thanks for the feedback, Edward!

Bro, I've only been a sponsor for like a month, but I think your shit is awesome. Personally I'd like to see some superhero babes, like rogue from xmen or maybe some she hulk action. Maybe some ladies with some muscle to them.

RoninDude

Thanks for the feedback! Usually, I would say that specific drawing requests are best left for commissions, when I am available... However, I am on hiatus from taking commissions, so I don't know when that would be! I am very particular about the sort of things I draw for Patreon, as I need to be motivated to actually draw it. I am not really into superheroes, but having said that, I do like to draw muscular women from time to time! That's not what this patreon will be about, but it will happen from time to time, no doubt. I have found that my ability to keep this up relies on my interest being peaked, so that means that the topic and theme of the art in this Patreon may wonder, from time to time, as I fulfill different drawing urges I have. XD

Matt

Sounds like the dream, man. I think that this is all really cool. You have a special kind of talent. I really like your poses.

AmorIncorporated

Your art is, as always, impeccable, and I am always glad to support you in your endeavours no matter what. Furthermore, I absolutely understand how important it is to be inspired to do one's work and to have it spring from the font of one's own imagination. That being said, I would personally love to see art with content that's more explicitly fantasy, or rather of the sort that builds upon characters, stories, and worlds, since your interest is in fantasy. The cheesecake is wonderfully cute, but little would please me more than seeing what richer, deeper tales you could tell in a (still sexy) image.

RoninDude

Thank you so much for the kind words! I am actually very happy to hear you say that you enjoy my fantasy works, most. I do too! I think the only reason I don't do it all the time is because it takes a considerable amount more creativity to do that sort of work, and sometimes I just don't feel like I have the creative reserves to do a full scenic piece for a weekly post. That being said, I definitely want to do more... I will have to do a fantasy themed pinup month, sometime soon... Hey, May's theme is in the air, so I will give it some thought! Thanks again for the feedback!

Dummy

As said by ArmoreIncorporated your art is impeccable. I like your style. But there is a clear change in the rewards. Until october 2016 and after. I prefer the first period.

RoninDude

October 2016 is when I did the one month of Ellie the Elven Archer in that little wooded village. It was the only pic set that wasn't themed around being "sexy". Beyond that month, the rest have all been sexy pinups of sorts (at least in my mind). I'd love to understand what you mean by a "clear change", but I need a bit of help. Can you tell me what exactly you feel has changed since October 2016?

Dummy

English is not my language so I can't tell exactly how but "a character do not need to have open legs to be beautiful" could be what I feel. For example the previous picture is not what I expected when I pledged in october 2015.

RoninDude

This is good for me to hear! I receive many many messages asking for more sexy, more nudity, more "open legs" as you put it, but I never get requests for less. Thanks for taking the time to be clear!

Jemeryl

I've been very impressed by your consistency: you stick to your release schedule and your work is all of a high quality. Your characters' expressions are great, really cheeky and fun. As Dummy pointed out, your April set was lewder than average. I really liked that, it was a nice surprise, but I also dig that you have a lot of variety in your art. Your work is gorgeous no matter how SFW/NSFW it is. What I really like are your fantasy adventurers. They are so fun whatever they're doing, whether they're just hanging out with each other, having wardrobe malfunctions, or fighting tentacle monsters. And, I LOVE the way you draw sweat XD

Michael

I've been here quite a while and i've never had any issues. You do fantastic and varied art, pick interesting themes and characters, generally you mange to leave me both satisfied and wanting more :) I honestly can't think of any criticism but if i had a wish it would be a few more of your 'Fantasy' characters, either sexy (like in the case of the female thief) or just cute (like in the case of Ellie and Lin) from time to time

squarenuts

I always feel like you have a web-comic up and running somewhere that ties into your art. And thanks for keeping Deviant art up to date / current. as some of us use that site as our primary search for artists to donate to.

RoninDude

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Consistency is important to me, both in schedule and in content. But I can also see the value in variety, specifically in content. I'd love to do more fantasy pictures! They always take a considerable amount of time to make, much more than a modern themed pinup, but I do enjoy them, and they usually turn out to be personal favorites. I'll definitely be considering doing more fantasy pieces in the future. :)

RoninDude

Thank you Michael, I appreciate the feedback! I am also happy to hear that more people are interested in seeing more fantasy works. I also enjoy those the most. They do take longer, but they are more fulfilling to finish. Thanks for sticking around so long! Glad to have you on board, and your feedback is appreciated!

RoninDude

Haha if I did, I'd be sure to post info about it! XD And no problem! DeviantArt has been my internet home for over 10 years, now. I am in it till the wheels fall off! :)

I wish all the artists I supported on Patreon were as awesome as you are.

RoninDude

thanks, Lee! That's very cool of you to say! I will always do my best!

There is nothing more or less that anyone can expect, though I must say you regularly exceed my expectations.
