I think this coloring style fits your art style in general better. At a certain point, if you shade so much (like last month), you would need to adjust the art style to it. More realistic eyes, face shape, nose....etc. for it to be perfect. I still really liked the hyper detailed coloring you did as an experiment, but this fits your style just much more. Also, I will jump and assume this is faster to make, and I absolutely endorse any style change that helps artists in avoiding burnout :D

Yeah man! I was only able to pull it off towards the end of my skating time (family moved into the mountains while I was in my late teens, and there was no pavement) but it was an awesome feeling to nail it!
