FINALLY DONE!

Man, that pic was an endulgence, on my part. It took quite a while, and I learned SOO much. I feel much more comfortable in doing such highly detailed scenes, and I even see how I could do some things better and faster.

Sorry for how long it took to finish, and I hope the wait was worth it! I have one more pic to finish before I send off October's rewards, but it will be much simpler, but hopefully no less cool. :)

In the meantime, I will be working today on some simple yet sexy pinups for November's art pack! So those should be out soon to view.

Thanks for being so patient while I work on this huge piece, and thanks for making it possible! This is just the beginning of such narative pieces, and it's such a good preperations for getting into comics. :D

Let me know what you think!

Thanks, man! Haha me tooooo! I should have my commission work load finished by the end of the year, and then I am going to seriously look into getting some sort of short comic out there, as a test. Got a story I want to try, already. :)

Wow, that's amazing work. Would love to see more :D

RoninDude

Thank you! It was so painful, looking up references for cakes and candies! XD

What a beautiful picture! This is by and large my favorite of this set. I didn't expect this piece to be this colorful! I expected more earthy tones, browns and greens. You did an amazing job, and I can't wait to see the hi-res!

RoninDude

Yay! It took forever haha! And yeah, I felt like a candy shop, even if a bit rustic, should probably be somewhat colorful. I still tried to stick with earth tones for the structure, but perhaps a bit more saturated than usual. I am glad you like it! :)

Oh wow... oh wow... there's something so wonderful about this. The foreground has a bright well-to-do girl showing a poor girl something, and the look on that simply-dressed peasant's face is one of shock and wonder. The other girl is going to get something amazing for her. Possibly for a wedding or other happy occasion. And our heroine walks in on this love,y moment! It's beautiful, especially when everyone is so upset and divided. Thanks. This means a lot.

RoninDude

I am glad you took the time to seek out the story in the picture, and I am super happy it reads clearly. :) I absolutely love doing this sort of work. Now just gotta figure out how to get the same effect, but quicker! XD Oh well, practice makes progress!

This is AMAZING!! You are creating Masterpieces, it doesn't matter how long it takes. Just keep it up!

Whoa dude! This thing came out amazing! I really like how you gave it that sense of continuity too with the glimpse of the outside coming in through the door and window! Really ties the other pieces together!

RoninDude

Thanks Chuck! This is a new favorite of mine, because I have never attempted such a detailed background shot, before. Here's to many more! :)
