New WIP sketch! - Dragon Girl (Patreon)

Here's a new sketch! She's waking up from a long nap, to do what she does every day: Enjoy her wealth! lol

I still want to do something with the last sketch, but I think this will be the first drawing for this month. I'll get to cleaning it up right away! Still gotta add her scale markings and all that. :D

As usual, high resolution files will be sent out to July Patrons after pledges process, which is usually around the 5th of next month.

"Sketch" simply means: "a rough or unfinished drawing or painting, often made to assist in making a more finished picture." The term "sketch" conveys intent. By my standards, this is rough and unfinished, and I intend to clean it further. I don't think it's rude to speak from my own perspective, about my own process.

Oh hey, don't worry about it. I get this sort of comment any time I call one of my sketches a "sketch", so I often refrain from using that term. It's a bit of a bummer, because it's like I'm not allowed to use the word anymore without offending someone (I realize you weren't, but others do get very offended). Anyways, whenever I forget about that and I use it, I tend to get a response like that, and so I get used to replying in such a way, defensively. So yeah, I am not offended at all, just a bit too automated in my response to that topic. <3

It would be amazing to see your dragon girl in other variant colors. Maybe she has siblings. Blue, green, etc

This looks so great! I love the way the coins stick to her. I can personally vouch having fallen asleep on nick-knacks they do have a tendency to stick to your skin creating hilarity when you sleepily greet someone. I kinda find myself wishing she had wings as I strongly associate them with dragons, but I know there are dragon types that lack them. (Not big wings mind you, just cutesy vestigial ones.)

Glad you noticed those details. :) As for the wings, let me just say, without spoiling too much, that she has different forms, depending on her mood. With wings or horns, more pronounced body spikes, etc.
