I just wanted to give a quick heads up that I am removing my "tip jar" tier. It's just adding more text to my Overview page, so I figure it's no big deal if I just ditch it. People can still tip if they want, I just won't be specifically asking for it. It won't effect anyone's rewards by removing it, because there's no rewards attached. Just a bit of clean up!

Anyways, that's it! Colors for the first Tifa pinup are in progress and should be done very soon. :)

Ok I see! I’m currently studying anatomy books, perspective and several other books about digital painting. It gets tough sometimes because as a self taught I don’t really get how to “properly” study. But it’s my passion and one day I will become great 👍🏻. Have a nice week and hope all is well!

I'm totally self taught too. You can do it! A good thing to keep in mind is this: Always draw what you are uncomfortable with, in terms of technical difficulty. By this I mean, drawing hands and feet and weird angles and perspectives, etc. Anything that seems difficult is what you should be tackling. This way, you are constantly pushing yourself to grow. if you always draw what is easy to you, you will stagnate. So keep pushing yourself! It'll be hard at first, but you'll adjust and it'll stop being hard. It does take time, though. As long as you are drawing and studying reference, you will improve. Best of luck!

That’s a very good advice indeed. Thank you for your words and your time. It means a lot!

There is much truth in this. I, as somebody who studied in art school, I would ad, that today it's pretty much useless if you been properly teaching yourself. The only thing you might learn from it is getting used to criticism, crunch time and deadlines. In the age of youtube and skill share, the best artists are right out there to teach you their skills for free. In the past, you would be traveling to a different country and leave your life behind to study from the best artists you know. Today, Stanley Artgerm Lau has tutorials on youtube for free. As an example. Another big favorite of mine is Reiq. Detailed tutorials with philosophy behind his workflow. In art school they will teach you art that is no longer viable. And cheaper art schools can only hire old people for anatomy studies. Yes, you might learn to draw people with character. I can draw amazing old people now. But you need young and healthy models to see muscle definition. That, I only learned from the internet. I'm throwing this out there as a reply to you Ronin, cos I hope many people who are considering art school gonna see this. All too many people have great expectations about art school. And I seen too many people come out and never grab a pen again. This is the age of self taught art. This Dude here is a fine example.

I totally agree, I owe a lot of my knowledge to free tutorials and videos online. Lots of knowledge out there for anyone willing to look! There's something to be said for learning to work under deadlines and excepting criticism from your superiors, but these are things you can also learn outside of school, in pretty much any job setting, I feel. I never saw value in school, I am pretty good at self motivation. Thanks for your input! I appreciate it. :D
