Our next Book of the Month: The Book of Charlatans (Patreon)

In June, our Book of the Month will be The Book of Charlatans, by  Jamāl al-Dīn ʿAbd al-Raḥīm al-Jawbarī. translated by Humphrey Davies. It is a guide to trickery and scams from the 13th century, and a fascinating work overall. I just gave a paper on the book - you can read it here -  and I highly recommend it. To get it, make sure you are signed up to either the Book of the Month or the Big Supporter levels on the Patreon, and it will get delivered to you by New York University Press later on in June.
