This is likely not of interest to many of you, but maybe some of you would be intrigued to see the differences.

I've added a new video, "Miyu - Low Effort Lip &  Hip" to the 1080p directory for September. This video is a sample of what my latest video would have been like if I just used the default motion file, default camera, and didn't adjust the lighting at all when the camera was looking at the lights directly. i.e. if I was just doing a minimal effort MMD as I see many other (but by no means all) creators doing.

Hopefully the amount of "bad" parts is pretty obvious, and gives some insight into why I'm pretty slow at getting out videos since fixing these things takes many hours of work. It's pretty clear many people don't seem bothered at all by arms continuously clipping through the body, but it bothers me, and I expect many of you too, which is why you're kind enough to support me!

Fixing a motion with as much clipping as this usually takes me 2 evenings of work. Camera alterations can be very variable, if I'm struggling to find a good new angle/movement or not, and usually requires rewatching the same part again and again many times to evaluate it. Modifying the lighting this time was another few hours of work too in this video, since it was a bigger problem with the camera angles in my modified camera motion too.

Also, even though I spend a lot of time fixing clipping issues, they still exist, and sometimes intentionally! In the final version, her arms do still clip through her skirt a few times, though this was an intentional decision to give some nice up skirt moments throughout. And her long sleeves were kinda unavoidably clippy at the start with no feasible way of fixing it... I could have just removed them entirely from the whole video but I do love the aesthetic of her full outfit so I had to allow it.

Anyhows, just figured it might be interesting for some of you to see just how bad a willowywicca video *could* have been! Thank you all for your patience, I'll keep on doing my best!

If more people could understand what was going on in the creating process, there would be less impatience. At least, I would hope.

Speaking for myself, I definitely notice and appreciate your dedication to quality and that's why I'm here. I was just going to comment how much I enjoyed this last video series. I'm definitely bothered by clipping the same as you and I certainly wouldn't want you to sacrifice quality for quantity. Thank you for always doing your best.

I think it's definitely something you need to experience to understand, humans are bad at learning without directly experiencing things themselves. But I do think that once they understand, people can empathize and be more patient. But since just telling them what's involved doesn't always convey the level of work needed, I think many people can't fully grasp what it means and may still be impatient. But that's okay, I certainly don't expect everyone to be understanding, and as long as just a few people show support and patience it's very motivating to keep going!

Yeah, can definitely see the difference. The lighting, the details on the model. I always love what you do and definitely think all your effort shows. Screw the haters who can't understand the hard work put into them. If they don't like waiting that's on them.
