my process is constantly shifting but I wanted to show you guys the basics of how I do these little screen-shot looking pics. The goal in the end it to make it look as if it were from something animated, so I try to keep the lines apparent on the character as much as I can. I’m also ALWAYS editing little things as I go along. I wanted to give the interior a sort of early 60’s sort of vibe. 

Also this character is titled Prof. but his real name is Check Techem (teck-um) Though he cameos in a lot of my other stories, he does belong to his own narrative my editor and I came up with a couple of year ago. It deals with alternate dimensions and timelines, but the setting originally takes place in 1956. Still trying to nail down some attire for him, but this red vest, blue tie combo with the cross clip has always been a go-to.
