Quick Heads Up (Patreon)

I am sure you guys have heard all the recent buzz in the past week about Patreon implementing taxes on tier benefits and pledges for certain countries etc etc starting on June 1st.

This will only affect very few of you, particularly patrons who are from like Finland, some surrounding countries from that area, and certain states in America.

I will also be editing the advanced tax settings in all tiers in order to save you guys as much money as possible. Some tiers won't be taxed or have VAT added to them at all anymore because certain countries and states don't put taxes on artistic support and donations. That is great news for patrons who previously were forced to pay taxes or VAT on certain tiers. Patreon now lets me edit those settings to prevent that where applicable.

Some of you will notice that you will have to pay less taxes. Some of you wont have to pay any taxes at all anymore. Some of you may have to start paying taxes. Some of you may not notice any changes at all. It all depends on your country or state.

I am only allowing Patreon to tax the smallest percentage possible on your pledges. C: So the taxes you guys will be paying should not amount to more than $1 if your country or state doesnt implement taxes on general support/donations. Even if your country has a 50% tax rate, which I dont think any country does, you wont be taxed more than 85 cents.
These amounts are in USD, so convert 85 cents to your currency. Patreon shouldnt be charging more than that amount for taxes or VAT.
