Nothing will change for you on my Patreon ;) ! (Patreon)

Hey friends, it's been a while I wanted to give you a little update about the recent changes happening on Patreon lately but the situation being kind of blurry even for creators I wanted to wait to have a full understanding of what was going on to talk about it with you.

Basically what is happening is that Patreon is putting in place a basic system including different level of membership for creators when there was only one type of account before. BUT what is important is that there is what they call the fundator creators, these are all the creators that created an account before all those current changes, and I'm one of them. What you need to know is that Patreon is taking a fee on the total amount of money creators make monthly, it was the case so far, something like 3 % even if I'm not sure about the exact amount. 

I'm not gonna be demagogist accusing them to make money out of us and I won't either say that angry clients are wrong to be. I understand they need to make their website live and develop, we live in a world were love and fresh water can't make you pay the rent ^^! I also understand clients need to feel respected and that's why I always try to do with you guys cause I may be a creator here but I'm also a client in my everyday life so I try to treat you the way I wanna be treated.

The problem is that with their new system Patreon is taking a fee on every subscriptions to  a tier, the percentage  depends  of the membership you take but with the basic one they take 3 %. So we came from 3 % of the monthly earning to a 3% for every subscription, I understand that when someone give me 5 dollars, 10 or 20 they want me to receive it, the person pays an artist in exchange of content, and I agree with you guys this is totally disgusting and I don't really agree to those type of practice. This is why you heard everywhere that it was better to subscribe before the new system launch but actually this is not true in every situation and in that case not true for my Patreon.

What you need to know is that this new system only applies to creators who arrived after the launch of those changes, for the ones who created their Patreon before which is my case their won't be no change at all and the system will never change for us, they don't have a system who allows old creators to shift to their new system but I want you to know that even if someday this pops out I will never take this options, it's not my vision of things. 

So I don't have the pretention to teach you anything, maybe you didn't hear a new thing reading this, maybe I enlighted this a bit for you, but rest assured that there is no worries  to have according to this, I can't express how grateful I am for your support cause as a lot of creators I knew a bit of a decline in the beggining of may and the numbers went up like never lately so thanks a lot for being a part of this journey friends and I look forward to draw the most hardcore and fun muscle art for you ^^!
