hyper violence in games like hatred is fine but heaven forbid you have a little nudity in games outside of Farcry, I really hate steam sometimes :(

Steam doesn't want to be the moral police, but Paypal is the moral police and Steam relies on Paypal for easy transactions. Paypal has bans placed on transactions involving "pornographic" material, which is a label defined by their discretion. For the most part, the difference between "artistic" and "pornographic" nudity is separated by how much of it there is, how much of a broad mainstream appeal the product has, and how rich the publishers are. Nudity is fine if you make a lot of money and you're really popular, otherwise you'll have to go with the off-Steam patch loophole.

Why not make a non-steam version or allow us patreons to add these files ourselves, make the base game itself somewhat modable so we can then add content you do on here to our games, steam has no say in what each of us due individually to our base games.

Well there was the idea of giving a non steam version with all outfits unlocked to patreon users. The problem is just that if that version gets leaked, nobody will buy outfits anymore in the game.
