While I appreciate all your support, moving on and starting next month, I’ll implement a strict new rule: no more OC’s.

I always struggled with OC’s for several reasons: if I have to be completely honest, I’m going to start saying that I’m an artist of a fairly limited range and skill. I have improved, but not enough and I work better with certain styles I already have done art (mostly cartoony and cutesy stuff). When I work with an established show or brand, to me it’s easy to follow it.

But when it’s an OC, I super, SUPER struggle to make it right. Honestly, I often feel like I make pieces below an acceptable standard whenever I have to do one (heck, it’s one of the reasons I just don’t make OC’s anymore: it’s just, not my thing, I’m not good writing stories and character backgrounds and whatever it involves and it just feels super hard to me: call it lack of imagination, I just don’t enjoy it).

ANYWAY, I make this warning to all of you in advance, so if you want to withdraw your subscription, I completely understand, if you want to keep it, just have in mind this new rule.

I’ll finish all OC related pics I already made a commitment to do, but I will not accepting new ones, and no: telling me “I know you can do it” or “take all the time you need” doesn’t work with me: I know my skills, and it just kinda takes time from those commissions I know I can do.

Well, that’s all for now folks, sorry for being a buzzkill, but I gotta be honest with you.
