The Protocol (Patreon)

To say the law was controversial would probably be the understatement of the century; protests erupted everywhere, all across America. “How could the courts decide in such a way?”, “This is an assault on women’s rights!”, among other phrases, were commonly heard. In times where the country was already too divided, this seemed like the straw that broke the camel’s back.
How could the nation unite?
Well, at the CIA we were pretty ready with a plan to make the national transition, let’s say, a smoother event.
We had a protocol: a new treatment to make some of the most well-known protesters more, let’s say, agreeable. But it had to be tested first; the last thing the CIA wants is to make things even worse (they surely learned their lesson in Latin America… a little. A bit).
A new substance, STPFRD, combined with some positive reinforcement, proved to be very successful. It worked with a subject so strong-willed and stubborn, some researchers almost left the entire project, thinking it would be useless.
SUBJECT: Smith, Hayley, native of Virginia.
She almost looked and acted like the stereotypical progressive radical feminist you’d see on some kind of cartoon: a prominent activist, pro-choice, pro-animal rights, pro-enviroment, and very vocal about it. The irony? She was the daughter of one of our best men, Stan Smith. Kids always rebel against their parents…
…but now, there seems to be a cure for it. To end the nasty aspect of the “generation gap”, once and for all.
The subject was rebellious, always putting up a fight. “You can’t do this to me”, “This is a huge human rights violation”, and other similar phrases were spouted by her. Even after being physically contained, she displayed a huge amount of will. Kind of a shame she always used it to focus on such pointless and lost causes.
A dose of STEPFORDIA was injected to her body, and while it was enough to calm her down a li’l, it wasn’t enough to truly kickstart the desired results; despite a more relaxed attitude, she still mumbled her usual stuff about rights and so on.
For a moment, there was a debate if we needed to put more than the recommended amount; we still didn’t quite know the effects of a double dose on a young human female.
We finally concluded we couldn’t lose our chance; the subject will probably help us way more than any other example or study we have done previously. Might be a once in a lifetime opportunity…
So, the next dose went; this time, her mind was finally put in blank; her face, emotionless at first, but little by little a small smile appeared on her lips.
We proceed to the protocol: long sessions of brainwashing, including video and audio implanting the right attitudes for a girl; submissiveness, a constant need to serve and please others, especially men and joy resulting from doing it right.
It took some time, but this was of vital importance: if we could be able to change the ways of this particular subject, we could in theory deal with any other.
The days went by, more quickly than expected, we saw a reaction; the attitude of the subject changed. She looked more peppy, smiling, her voice acquired a sweeter tone, and whenever she was questioned, she ended up asking if she could do anything to help us.
Then, she actually became more conscious of her looks; she fixed her hair more, and even asked if we could provide her with “prettier clothes”. She gained a taste for old-fashioned, 50’s and early 60’s dresses.
All according to plan…
A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER
“Reporting from Langley Falls, Virginia; while controversial at first as in almost any community in the States, there has been a quite strange political turn in this little town. Some weeks ago, Hayley Smith, a left wing feminist extremist would be one of the most vocal voices again the new Supreme Court decisions. Today? She seems to have done a complete shift, still making her voice heard, FOR the new traditionalist laws.
“I was like, kind of a slow-learner”, Miss Smith declared to our reporter. “But now it’s clear to me these decisions are for the good of America.”
She did it by holding a “Proud Trade Wife” sign. She clarified she meant to write “proud trad wife”, as in “traditional”.
“What can I say? I kinda like, I’m not super good with language and I make typos all the time and stuff,” she told us. “But like, the message’s still pretty super clear, isn't it?”
