Thank god for a main character like takemitchy cause if it was a main character from demon slayer, jjk or any of the big MC's doing this, they wouldn't get hate and get passes. it's refreshing and I am glad to see a main character who doesn't get powers up nonstop, 4.5 gpa and the strongest fighter and I really don't understand how takemitchy is getting blame when his reaction is what alot of people would do considering he had JUST realized AND kisaki in the past NEVER hurted emma from his POV

The thing is Takemichi didn't put it together. He was *asking* himself if he knew anything about Emma. Naoto never had any information on that. She is Mikey's AND Izana's younger sister. She could have been part of future evil toman and then used and manipulated like draken by mastermind kisaki. The anime changed the chapters order to make it painfully obvious to the viewer(!) that it's gonna be Emma. They slowed down the whole scene for dramatics. In the manga Takemichi recognizes it's Kisaki and the next page it's done and over for Emma. There was no time. Maybe blame the animation studio, they slow down a lot of those scenes and tbh I feel like these are the scenes where most frustration comes from. Maybe they dislike Takemichi too. It is unusual for Kisaki to get his hands dirty like that. Hanma even said it in the episode to draw attention that this is nothing toman would expect. Why would Takemichi think his sworn Enemy, coming in his direction -on a bike with a bat- is not gonna aim at him? Just hours ago the remaining captains where involved in these kind of motorcycle accidents. He was Toman's last captain standing. Also the risk Kisaki took with this is alarming! Not killing Takemichi and ending it all but getting so desperate to get to Mikey. Killing Emma with his own hands was more important than taking out Takemichi. Kisaki is still a "teen" in this time. Toman/Tenjiku are not yet feared by the police. Kisaki is risking all because Takemichi and Naoto have crossed all his plans until now. That's why we're on season 3. You were able to come to the conclusion that Emma was in mortal danger because it was animated that way. The studio wanted you to scream at the screen and not being able to do anything just like Takemichi in a way. I understand you are frustrated and that's alright. Just some thoughts of mine. For the question what kind of protagonist Takemichi is.. I would always they he is human.. with a purple health bar but just human after all. I don't know about you but I could not do half the things Takemichi has done. Mentally he is the strongest, withstanding the craziest punches due to pure will of not giving up. But also all the stress he's been under immense pressure, trying to save so many lives. I could not sleep at night knowing it's on me to change all these horrible outcomes. Especially after even seeing some die right in front of me. he'll never forget what he's been through. He is risking his life and would gladly give his to save the ones he loves. Hina, the Toman Family.. he has an incredible big heart and that's what I love about this show and portrayal. And for not recognising Izana in an instant.. he saw him yeaaars older while in absolute distress for a short time. It can be hard some times to make the connection. Fullname: Keisuke Baji. the Edward is an english sounding name he chose to joke around with Mikey(saying he is Michael first) I hope it doesn't sound rude, I really don't mean anything in a mean way :) looking forward to more of you
