Yah Nen is probably a lot of people's favorite power system in anime, liked compared to bleach's bankai and shikai, one piece's devil fruits and haki and naruto's chakra. But nen feels like it could be the most straightforward at times but also the most complex I have ever seen in anime. I like One Piece over HxH but if you asked me which power system I would take from the two, I would take Nen, no questions asked.

Nen can also be comparable to Reishi(Bleach), Haki (One Piece),as well as Cursed Energy (JJK). You could see similar attributes and themes running in all three ideas.

Haki might be the single worst comparison to nen i have ever seen ngl... theres maybe two similarities. haki is the single most basic power system known to man, and this is coming from a one piece fanboy lol.

Good point but I think it can be directed to specific people similar to haki if u watched One Piece and similar to the scene where pito dirceted her malicious aura on Gon and Kilua right after she cuts Kaito’s hand to scare them
