I wish they were more clear on the zoro situation with his injuries. Is it twice the injuries themselves as a side effect or is it simply double the pain?

Yah next week is a recap episode, but the week after is another episode that will be on par with the sanji and zoro fights, the animators have been hyping it up so expect quality animation!

in ch 1017 (ep 1039) they said he'll SUFFER twice...and then in ch 1038 (this episode) they said SUFFER twice the DAMAGE and chopper questions "his INJURIES will get DOUBLED?" so i'm assuming his injuries get double which then causes him to feel twice the pain...and it is so much pain that he's even hallucinating a literal grim reaper

The issue I have with this is the functionality of the medicine. So am I to understand the medicine healed his bones but then they all broke again twice as bad after the medicine wore off? It's just sort of ridiculous especially after what zoro went through with Kuma.

Time has made Kaido and Big mom old and doesn't have the stamina they had before. For some anime it doesn't but Age in one piece does have an important role in fighting abilities. and because of plot armor it was never a fair fight against these emperor. :)

Taking a swordsman sword away with haki is extremely hard. It would be extremely difficult for Kid to take Big Mom sword
