Not gonna lie, hearing about the whole female group kidnapping men for breeding kinda reminded me of big mom in One Piece in which she would kidnap husbands so she can get children and then cut them out of her life as she doesn't consider husbands/outsiders as family for her family-only pirate group.

The kid was not the spider, also the dad wasn’t saying he was looked at as a traitor. He was trying to rationalize why someone would rat him out for trying to escape. like “this guy snitched and got my lover killed and my son taken, did he do it because i betrayed them by trying to leave?” or is he the traitor by snitching on him.
