I know y’all don’t like skylar but I think you guys are really overreacting to her actions until this episode. Cuz I know this episode showed her distancing herself from Walt but you have to remember she feels like Walt has been lying to her all this time and has tried to ask him to be honest with her which he wasn’t. And since he’s the mc we give him the benefit even though he has been a horrible husband since he started this journey. I don’t excuse what she’s doing but before this it seemed y’all already were at her throat.

Tbh I gotta say, your really not seeing Skyler POV and your only making the excuse of pregnancy to be her benefit which IMO is awful way of thinking. Walt has constantly over and over lied to Skyler so many times over and SHE KNOWS IT (She just doesn't know about what he doing). He has built walls up against her to basically distance himself completely from her. Everytime she tried to get him to open up, he lies and puts a wall up against even more. Remember the 2nd cell phone? He still has not even BOTHERED to explain himself, she knows he's trying to gaslight her. When Skyler said that really nothing has changed, it's because nothing has changed at all, he is still putting his walls up where she is never allowed in. Tbh, Walter is not being selfless one bit, he is being ABSOLUTELY selfish and nothing he is doing is even remotely justified to being selfless for his family. True selfless would of been taking the money from Gretchen, opening up to your wife and allowing yourself to be vulnerable around her. Not this bullshit of walts drug business for his family where they never asked for him to do that. On top of it, never told him that he needs to figure out how to get more money. You are right, communication has to happen but mostly on Walts side. Because he is the one bringing down his own marriage. Having cancer doesn't excuse you to be manipulative, deceitful husband. Also sorry this long rant, but I'm pretty sure there is no rot at all. I think it's just Walt lying to keep himself busy because he didn't go to work since Skyler told him to take it easy. Instead of spending time with his family at breakfast....Hes fixing rot that not even they believe because Walt Jr doesn't believe there is any rot. Again another act of distancing yourself from everyone.

Dont put all the blame on walt when clearly being manipulative, deceitful spouse was already emitting off her before walt even started going down the wrong path. She has been doing the exact same thing to walt however now she cant take it when it happens ten fold to her. I dont think walt is a good guy anymore but he was before as he was doing everything to support his family before by working jobs which were humiliating (car washing while rich kids laughing at him). Walt is a man with a selfless but also a bit selfish wish that has led him down the wrong path. I admit what he is doing is wrong and is incredibly poor but his wife has also been terrible in this marriage. Typed it here because people dont look at replies.

I agree that he has been doing some crazy stuff with these drugs its just that the family was falling apart long before he started this stuff. She was doing stuff before this that was questionable as well as her personality being a bit manipulative and deceptive in the past proven by two different stories of why she left the company in the first place. Walts prideful stuff and him doing all this drug stuff is utter crap though.

Skyler didn't show any signs of being manipulative and deceitful person. She only started doing it when Walt started doing it. I think what caused her to go back there was because of how Walt is no longer being basically a husband to her, a father to their son and soon to be daughter. Skyler is literally seeing Walt change into someone she can't even recognize anymore.

Also there was no signs at all that there family was falling apart before the cancer. Walt problem before cancer is how he has a daily routine where he feels like he has no autonomy or choice. So he was extremely depressed and what got him out of that depressed is ironically making meth because he gets to feel alive. So his marriage was never falling apart, it was Walt that was slowly falling apart.

There are many times I can pick out skyler having a manipulative and deceitful character as it is shown on multiple occasions. They are now as bad as each other but the messed up part is one is being an extreme hypocrite and the other is a meth head.😂😂😂

First of all he has cancer so ovbiously he is going to change.If you said that walt is too prideful then fair enough but manipulative and deceitful is something they both been doing. why did she lie about leaving the company and give two different stories?, conveniently walt being told something completely different compared to the story she gave her sister as well as the evidence we see with our own eyes. This was told before the first episode as skyler had already left the company before season 1 episode 1 took place. I think that most of this is walts fault but not taking accountability is ridiculous. Skyler is no angel

Dude do you not like watch this? When did Skyler show MANIPULATIVE and being DECEFEITFUL over and over in episode 1. I can LITERALLY immediately give you just in episode 1 on how Walt uses his terrible behavior JUST to get his way. Then on top of his RAGING inferiority complex that he always get jealous everyone around him so he has to be the big shot all the time just to get his way. 1. Walt isn't a meth head, your obviously not watching this. 2. Skyler is not some raging hypocrite given her entire life is changing BECAUSE of Walt and how badly he actually treats her. She could have told her sister the same thing she told walt which would have been better because then they wouldn't know she was lying but she didnt which probably means she saw him getting hands on with her. This episode is about Walt marking his territory. When Skyler was making that speech saying that Gretchen & Elliot paid for the treatments Walter was ready to explode. He was thinking it was his hard work that paid for the treatments. That's why later when he was drunk he was so angry with Hank and how Jr looks up to him and said "my son, my bottle, my house". In 0106 Hank even tells Walt at his school "you got to keep better watch over your turf". The brand of paint at the end is ‘Kilz’ and it’s white paint, meaning he’s killing the White name officially, including his family and the foundation of it. Trading it for instead, his Heisenberg identity. The episode is even called Over. As if it officially dies here. "This is the exact MOMENT Walt becomes HEiseNbErG" Leaving the paint behind at the store instead of purchasing it. He tried to mask his itch for cooking but he feels fulfilled as Heisenberg, which is obviously alarming. “No deep seated issues there” –Saul. Leaving behind his mundane old life for the rush of living out his Heisenberg Fantasy
