Have you guys noticed Aqua's eyes were so blank and dead (sometimes with a black star) throughout the episode and its only when he was about to tell the director that he wants to act that he regained the iconic starry look (inherited by his mother ofc) again? Meanwhile Ruby has always had that starry look throughout the show. Little details like that help portray the characters state of mind at different point of the show
