You were close. It's The Night King lol and if you look back at the king's convo with Rhaenyra when he talks about them having to fight the white walkers the camera zooms in on him clutching his dagger Cat's Paw which is the same blade Arya used to kill the Night King.

I did want to point out with whole birth scene, his choices were either save the baby or lose the baby and his wife. She was going to die either way. That whole situation was really fucked tbh. As to everything else I’m kinda curious what your theories are gonna be and if any of your opinions will change as the season goes on lol

One thing everyone should remember is that the choice he was given wasn't "Save the mother or the child". The choice he was given was "Save one or lose them both". It's possible that he would've chose to save the child in either case but this distinction is important.

It's sole focus is on the Targaryen family, in comparison to Game of Thrones... which is a lot more ambitious in exploring the motivations and perspectives of about a dozen major houses and factions.

Paddy Considine does a PHENOMENAL job as King Viserys on this show. He's still in line with the book version, but George RR Martin was highly complimentary of the portrayal and actually texted Considine ''Your Viserys is better than my Viserys''. He's definitely the actor I enjoyed most in this show.
