Another great anime from one of Tatsuki Fujimoto (chainsaw man) previous assistants Yuji Kaku, the others were Spy x Family (Tatsuya Endo), and another that only has a manga yet DANDADAN (but you should definitely be on the lookout for the anime announcement because its really good) , but they all have went and made amazing stories after working for him its wild.

Demon Slayer is solid but definitely not an elite story. Being better than Demon Slayer isn't a feat

I still don't know why ppl think demon slayer is that great of a story. The visual and music are what makes it great. It elevates the story from being good to impressive. I read the manga and let me tell you, it was good reading it till the end when I finally realized that the series is average at best. The anime is the only thing that makes me remember and love the series. If it weren't for ufotable studios' wonderful animation, Demon slayer wouldn't have blown up as it did. If a studio like studio deen had animated it, ppl would have dropped the show a long time ago. Let's look at one punch man. The first season had stellar animation plus an excellent story resulting in its first success. The second season came and the animation became mid but the excellent story and plot carried the second season and even though some ppl were mad at the animation, they still stuck with it b/c the plot hooked us. If that had been demon slayer, nah man, a lot of ppl would have dropped it as they did with seven deadly sins. Seven deadly sins is another series like demon slayer. Good story but the animation in season one and two carried the anime. But then they changed studios and the animation went to the trash, and what happened, ppl stopped rocking with the series. I just hope to God that Ufotable never drops the series b/c if any studio tries to do the series, it won't hit the same as it was before.

Demon Slayer carried by anime. Need anime onlys to read a little Demon Slayer just to see how much the source material got carried. The story isn't great

Even if the story isnt that deep, its still a good watch and enjoyable. Not everything is gonna be a masterpiece. Plenty examples of basic anime storywise that was still fun to watch.

So far, after Ep 1. I think it's nothing speical, feels very basic shonen. But people hype it up, so I guess we will see.

Never disagreed that the anime isn't fun to watch. I watch it and enjoy it for ufotable's godly animation, not the plot or story. I read the manga already and the story was alright. Not the best but it's alright. The only reason why I kept reading the series was b/c of Tanjiro the mc. At least he was the best part of the series.

bruh u just reminded me that they needs to go back on tog...lol they kinda went on tog reaction hiatus because there was an announcement that there'll be an anime 2nd season but we have no idea when it will come out...kinda hoped that they would continue the tog webtoon reaction...S3 nest arc and the current arc have been so lit, so I can't wait to see them reacting to those chapters
