I honestly feel that this is much more closer to Re:zero than Erased. Re:zero & Summertime has supernatural & time looping whereby Erased only have time looping. Even that eerie soundtrack gave the re:zero feeling.

Lol erased he’s going back in time to solve his childhood friends murder in order to catch a present day killer and in rezero he needs to live through events and then die in order to repeat the day and figure out the big picture so it’s a lil a both but it seems more like re:zero to me but I dropped this anime after episode 3 so idk lmao

Awwwwww yeaaa Summer Time Rendering, amazing show from last year. The concept of the show is a combination of Time loops from Re:Zero with the mystery of Higurashi(must watch, if you enjoy mysteries).

Glad you're finally checking this one out. This one, more specifically the earlier episodes carry heavy Higurashi vibes. So if you's like this one, I truly do hope y'all come to check that classic out. NOT the 2020 series which is often mistaken as a remake (its a sequel). Watch the original 2 season series.
