When yall were talking about "what do the devils benefit from helping humans?" I thought about this as well because they ask for like an arm or a leg, but ok? like if you're going to help me fight that's not alot to ask for it feels like. Aren't there devils and fiends just taking people and eating them without asking lol? Maybe someone can explain it to me aswell

You asked really good questions Steph about the devils benefits for helping humans. Those answers will get explained in more detail the further we get into chainsaw man's story. You will just have to wait until it gets into more depth about devils, probably not until 2nd or 3rd season.

I think you are missing something, you say Devil's have the upperhand on everything. But if that was the case, how did Humans even capture a single Devil to make a Contract with him in the first place? Especially since it would've to be a strong Devil, so that the Abilities they get from Contracts are strong too. Also like they said at the beginning, Devil Hunter can also use Guns and stuff to fight Devils and we see that Aki can slice up the Ghost Devil. So Devils are definitely strong, because of the abilities they have, some more than others. But they are not as strong as you think they are. If you would use a Rocket Launcher, most devils would probably die from it. Because even Katana can slice them up. Which mean they don't have super tough skin. There are some Devils that are "friendly" towards Human, like the Angel Devil (overall DEvils that looks more Human are friendlier to Humans) or like the Fox Devil, who is especially nice to good looking Humans. But pretty much all Devils are against Humans, some more than others. Example is Angel Devil, when Aki gave him the order to get the guy out. Angel said "He gave me an Order... But I'll take that over fighting, I guess." So yeah, Angel is not into Fighting really. And then it comes down to, Die because you are a Devil or help the Devil Hunters. Also, the Future Devil said that Aki's death "fucking rules" but in the Manga he said "You are going to die in the worst way in the future!". So that shows that Aki's death, that's gonna be "the worst way" is enough for the Future Devil as payment. When others had to give "Half their Lifespan" or "Both Eyes and the sense of Smell and Taste."

You are right but remember we have seen parts where the anime takes its time with in between scenes. And also technically we need to adapt at least 50-60 more chapters, I don’t think 1 cour is enough to be honest.

Basically as long as it’s beneficial to mankind she can make necessary sacrifices but if she’s getting devil hunters killed for no reason or for her own agenda then he’s saying he won’t be giving her a pass and will come after her

Kishibe literally stated he's strong enough to kill any devil last episode and base denji has killed devils. Devils don't always have the under hand. Humans without contracts can be stronger than Devils. Strong people like Kishibe could easily capture and lock Devils in that prison so weaker hunters like Aki can make contracts
