Yeah but she also lied and said she didn’t get shot when she clearly got shot in the back of her head and I think that’s because she doesn’t want them to know she isn’t human. Even when they had their eyes covered they was saying they can’t see what contracts she has… to me it didn’t look like she was using a contract it looked like she was using her own power and I don’t think they know she has that.

Fun Fact, in the Manga she lost 4 Finger Nails and not just 1. Another Fun Fact, the whole scene with the Bus, Makima dressing up and the Convicts arriving at the Temple stairs is not in the Manga. I goes, Makima asks for a new pair of cloths and then goes straight into the scene where they want to get Denji into the Car. When it comes to Kobeni, Himano said that she has the prowess but she is also very timid. And I have to say, the shot in the Manga, when Makima stand behind the guys in the Train, looks really dope. @Giyuu you say "to me it didn’t look like she was using a contract", but for example. If Himano used her Ghost arm on Power, we couldn't see it choke her and also the first time she used it, we didn't saw it, We only saw afterwards every time because the Anime wants use to see it. So that we know whats going on. Or Aki, when he uses "Kon" we do see his Hand move and obviously the fox appears, but Makima is using something else. Which me might not see because we are not supposed to see it. So just because we can't see that she is using a Contract doesn't mean that there is no Contract. It could just be that we are not supposed to see it yet.

I think my favorite bit of detail here was that one girl immediately pulling out snake on kobeni. For me that just implies that kobeni is just scary as fuck. With Aki, Himeno and even Denji, she kept her cool. As soon as Kobeni came out that girl was in NOPE mode immediately. Just makes me excited for what’s to come with Kobeni

You could see it as that but you also could see it as she was just on guard in case Makima had another surprise for them. After all she was under the impression they killed everyone so to see someone from the division pop up unexpectedly after also suspecting Makima to still be alive would have anyone on edge like that
