Quick note: In the manga, ReDestro actually rips (or crushes) three of Shigaraki's fingers off his hand when he was grabbing him earlier, so it kind of made sense that he kept dangling him knowing he removed those fingers since his information stated Shiggy could only activate his quirk with 5 fingers. They probably didn't show it for censorship reasons.

I think you are overthinking a bit, his quirk doesnt enhance his physical abilities to make him "run fast" the fact that he spent months without sleep in a life or death type of training vs gigantomachia caused him to get so physically fast etc.. the only way to deal with someone so big like gigantomachia is to out speed him etc.
