If Orochi told the traitor to join as a retainer, that must mean that Oden already has more than one, and the first two were Denjiro and Kin'emon. So I think that leaves them out of the equation...

I found 3 hints that the traitor might be Kunjiro, the bird that brought the letter ( thought it looks much more real than his painting ). The fruit was black and white like the end of his brush. He paints his face that might have something to do with him playing a character.

It’s 100% kanjuro. They have never showed his backstory, orochi said that he was raised in theatre troupe when oden met kanjuro he was acting as a zombie, kanjuro was also ”captured” by doflamingo and doflamingo worked for kaido.

Oda has done a fucking incredible job of hiding the traitor. IF you really try you have all the info you need to figure it out. You just don't know it. Its been done very subtly. You should go and look up traitor theory vids once its revealed because the thought process is awesome to see

- Orochi Family is the Kurozumi Clan they were one of the six ruling families in Wano, but lost their power after a failed attempt to seize the shogunate by killing Odens grandfather. The head of the kurozumi family managed to kill several people from the other families but failed when he tried to kill odens grandfather the shogun he was ordered to kill him self which he did, but the other ruling families wanted revenge for their murdered family members so thy went after the remaining kurozumi family members AKA Orochi, (the old woman / hag) and the old man also the spy whose family was murdered in front of him.

Oden is the only rival for Shogun. It makes sense sending spy to your enemy.

Ah yeah you might get the timeline wrong, remember those scene when oden was about to kill orochi and when Oden are dancing in the capital they laughed at him, i think around that spesific time this spy was started working for him, and you know at that time even before he went to the whitebeard ship, the retainers were already there. Maybe you got confused with those theatre stuff but it might be happen in the past and now after everything orochi learn, he just killed the person that kill this spy parents and then start recruiting him after orochi has a knowledge that the spy were already with Oden. Also remember at sometimes the news are spread into the newspaper througout the wano country when they were officially his retainers, and that probably how orochi got the info. Yeah Oden never searching for retainer at first but later on after Yasuie ask them to learn and grow stronger, thats all was to built them as Oden's retainers. Also orochi dont ask him to be oden retainer but he said to be "the real oden retainer" which indicates that he already with Oden and orochi ask him to stick with him until the duty is finished basically

What a great reaction you 2, kanjuro does seem a lot more suspect I think than kinemon, Steph remember when you found it weird that kanjuro got seperated in dressrosa... doflamingo did work that benefited kaido and kaido is allied with orochi who knows the spy. This chain effect, I can't wait for the next episode have a great day everyone <3

They gave you a clue. There was a devil fruit when he was talking to orachi. Who in the group of retainers has devil fruit powers.
