one thing to remember steph is yes the uchiha are an elite group of ninja, there's probably 5000 ninja if not more in the leaf village? and those uchiha are probably all the best of the best if not all close to the top, its mostly that itachi is just like top 5 strongest in the village, lmao so to him its like slaughtering a bunch of chuunin or geninn.

Itachi was only 13 yrs old when he slaughtered the uchiha clan and he's only 5 years older than sasuke is crazy and in the present time sasuke is 13 and itachi is 18 years old to think he's nowhere near what his brother was at 13

Mel was wondering who was stronger at this time between Naruto and Sasuke. At this point, Sasuke's been fighting with killing intent, while Naruto has been half-hearted... and has been getting destroyed by Sasuke. But even still, I would argue that Sasuke is stronger than Naruto with and without his Sharingan, and Naruto would have to use the Ninetail's chakra to tip the scales. Even with me saying that though, this is still part of Naruto's power, because he's had to train that ability, in the same way that Sasuke has had to train with the Sharingan. Should be interesting how this shakes out. The last couple episodes have been flashback-heavy, and featured Naruto wrestling and struggling with the thought of fighting Sasuke like this... but yeah, we in it now. The fight begins NOW!

Yeah, to this point, they didn't really name any of the Uchiha in the clan except Itachi, Sasuke, Sasuke's father (Fugaku), and mentioned Shisui. Sasuke's father was the chief of the police force and the clan's leader, while Shisui was stated to have been incredibly powerful. Besides those four, you're right... it's entirely possible that all the other Uchiha were just Chunin and Genin-level. Itachi was stated to become a Chunin by age 10 and an ANBU captain at 12. He very likely was jounin or even kage-level by the time he took out his clan, so it speaks strongly of Itachi's abilities that he could take out so many Chunin/Genin-level ninja. Consider that Naruto and his friends are all Genin (except Shikamaru), but I would argue that they all have the Chunin-level strength.
