so sad bc garf never got to even know his mom he was a baby, he only learned last year she didn't abandon him and she said she would come back, and he's still only like 15 so this has to hit a lot harder with him still being a kid

crazy thing i just realized is that the only attack that actually hit greed was subaru's sloth factor hand!! might be key to actually hurting him, in season 2 petelgeuse's hand grabbed him also hurt him a few times, although he still took no damage

I agree with your take on Re:Zero being the best anime so far this season. It just so much tension every episode mixed with great action and emotional moments like with Garfiel Sure other animes might beat it towards the end but I wouldn't be surprised if it's closer than expected
