As a huge wrestling fan I loved this. I was worried when Anthony said one match was horror that it'd be Swerve vs Hangman, but thankfully not. I'd love to see them do this a few times a year and for Anthony to pick out other great matches and the guys see how great wrestling can be as a vessel for story telling.

Its a tragedy that Daddy Magic did not accept Anthony's challenge. Also do some horse, kill your wife to the tune of "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy" might take the belt for quickest way to clear out a karaoke bar.

My husband and I have started binging AEW for two days because of me watching this. I haven’t watched wrestling since I was a kid and Anthony reminded me of how much I loved it and now not only am I hooked again but I got the whole family hooked lol

Actually AEW wrestlers do have some Health insurance. They worked it is each talent is under two contracts, one as a wrestler, the other as an entertainer for online content for the corporation. Awesome Kong Explained it in an interview.

I'm only halfway and it doesn't look like it's going to get talked about. But the comradery between wrestlers is amazing too. The trust they have in one another. When you hear The Rock talk about his first big match where they give him the win over.... I forget who. If the man cried I bet he would. He's emotional every time. Wrestling is just something special, truly.

What a blast to the last for me. When I was really young I loved wrestling. Triple H, Stone Cold, The Rock, Man Kind, Brett Micheals, the Hardy boys, Kurt Angle, Gold Dust, and Diamond Dallas are the guys I grew up with. As an adult I either wrote it off as too fake or was trying to be a better person and cut out things I thought contributed to toxic masculinity, so I just didn’t watch it. Hearing the names Gold Dust and Diamond Dallas Page are shock to the system. I enjoyed this MBIC even though I didn’t think I would. To Anthony, seeing as you are such a wrestling aficionado how did you perceive the movie Ready to Rumble? In 2000 I was still a wee one and still loved wrestling. I remember really liking the movie then. I have yet to see it though and in almost 25 years not sure the movie still holds up. I liked a lot of stupid shit as a kid and this movie may be one of those. I bring up the movie because watching this MBIC just really reminded me of it.

This was FANTASTIC. I'd love a NJPW version of this with the Daddies crew. A Yano match for comedy, Shibata/Okada for drama, and Ricochet/Ospreay for spectacle. I mostly just want to hear everyone react to all the flippy shit.

As someone who loves this podcast/dungeons and dragons, pro wrestling, and non pro wrestling fans reacting to it without just shitting on it and actually respecting what the wrestlers and the crew do to put on a performance, I would love more content like this please!

I think it would be super sick to see a reaction of the evolution of women’s wrestling, from the tasteless/sexist era up to the modern era where the women are putting on matches just as good as the men and aren’t just being used as a cheap ploy for ratings boosts (Eric bischoff’s “hot lesbian action” and bra and pantie matches)
