I listen to mostly this and Behind The Bastards and I very much appreciated that ad pivot. It will never get old for me.

Now I really want to run Dungeons and Daddies as a campaign for my group.

I did my first biographical book report on Tony Hawk and over the years he continues to impress me with his generosity and spirit. I watch VGHS on YT twice a year and those scenes always get me. As well as the pizza vending machine yall paid so much money for lol

Holy shit! I was literally thinking, I hope someone mentions Rick Rubin's The Creative Act. It was my favorite book of 2023. I've been a musician for over 20 years and that book addresses nearly everything I've experienced as a songwriter and I agree with all his thoughts and opinions on initial brainstorming, creativity, finishing a project, releasing it to the world, and how that changes the way we see our creations in the end. And Rubin's "source" is something I actively engage with. I've tried to talk about it before with friends and other musicians but was never able to express or define it as well as Rubin does in this book. Love that you guys brought this up. I recommend it all the time.
