i actually started the podcast at ep 38 with no intentions of listening past that episode. i can confirm that that episode + the oakvale arc got me into the show as a whole and also that i've been listening to everything else out of order with a method i can barely describe here because it keeps changing. excellent podcast!! love the story even out of order

Oh man, i have such a hard time believing someone didn't like season one! The first couple episodes can be a little tough to get through, but honestly they're so good looking back, and i don't think the set up for season 2 just wouldn't have the same effect.

I actually started listening last January because my, new then but still current, partner had been a fan since the beginning. Neither of us particularly like silence at night so she'd start a random episode when we went to bed. So I spent months listening to snippets as I came in and out. I totally think it's a good way to start because I'd wake up and one of you would be funny and I'd have no idea what was going on and drift off again. But honestly, "Lord's of chaos" would be a good starting point. Related... I was half awake and somehow converted Beth talking about her cat and Freddie's roommates banging into y'all talking about rats having sex and when Matt asked about them wearing clothes I was like "why would rats be wearing clothes?!?!” thought you'd find that weird.

But a 16 hour day that becomes two ~80-90 minute episodes would be a stellar way to begin a new season. That would allow you all to 'find the fun' with new characters/scenario and create the slog-fest-effect that I hope to hear at least once! Prediction (rating the players before I hear them) >Freddy: 5 but he thinks he's an 8 >Will: 8 but he thinks he's a 5 >Beth: 6 and she knows it >Matt: 9 and it'll be an upset >Anthony: 7 because he'll do it as Hermie and Hermie is just *ok* compared to Scam-likely.

I didn't realize it until the question was asked, but I actually imagined Goofs realm as the Q Continuum: An extremely boring place devoid of joy or anything remotely interesting - thus causing it's inhabitants (or mainly Scam, as A) to run rampant through other realities in a vain effort to feel things. ...or a bunch of geese (I've been hearing you all say Goose to the point I was questioning my own reality)

Weird note because I'm really behind but at least in the state of AZ, you can be enrolled into public school until the age of 22. You might be placed in specialized classes specifically for "adult" students but in general it depends on the state but away I go to catch up on more episodes
