We get into the tenth episode of season two including the differences between playing a fully-formed adult versus a teenager finding themselves, Anthony's mechanic for judging the debate, and the big lore drop about the Dads' history.

Plus, we talk about using "printer trouble" to buy time to finish projects, weird high school traditions, Matt's affinity for shallow water, and the VHS movies everyone watched over and over as a kid.

I always double space after a period. It was taught as an old typing skill from the days of typewriters, and it’s surprising how much space it adds over the course of a long paper.

As part of the beginning of online education, my go to trick was the corrupted copy/fail to upload. "Oh, I accidentally uploaded the wrong paper. Oh, you can't read it it was "corrupted"". Saved my neck a few times.

my movie that id just watch on repeat was the old Gen1 Transformers: The Movie. my mom would do the same thing where shed just rent that and put it on in lieu of hiring a baby sitter. im in my mid 30s now and i can still just put that on and watch it through at basically any time. and i also loved horror movies as a kid and watched quite a few of them, and even with kids movies, the "scary" parts were always my favorite. i saw one horror/action movie when i was a kid that became my white whale cause i didnt know what it was and nobody i described it to had ever seen such a thing. i did eventually find it, or rather my cousin who i had originally watched it with did. the movie was Zeiram, and its a japanese movie that as far as i know wasnt super popular, so its not surprising nobody in the pre-internet US midwest knew about it. and also, my mom kept all my old notebooks from when i was a kid and she gave them to me a few years ago. i found a drawing of the main bad guy, Zeiram himself, that i had drawn from memory in a notebook from like 1st or 2nd grade, along side a bunch of other "normal" kids drawing id done.

also, id meant to mention, there have also been some studies done about kids and young teens liking horror so much, and it in fact apparently being good for them. i dont remember any details but i do remember it has something to do with facing danger, and experiencing fear, but not having to actually be put in *real* danger to do it. iirc its good for mental development and emotional control and stuff like that.

YES I love these after-ep talks that spend time on what y'all loved about the episodes. It's just so nice hearing people talk about what they love and are excited to share.

Will I just wanna give you a big hug 🥺 I'm so sorry you felt that way about yourself especially at such a young age 💔

To Matt's story with Dot and movies- I was really scared of the evil talking dogs in Up and the scene where the old guy hits the construction worker

On the topic of Nick Foster’s betrayal, I think the memory syringe might come into play as to why he thinks he was betrayed
