The Teens talk about episode eight of season two including how the FBI conversation from earlier in the season set up Matt's takeover of the episode, Anthony's shock that Freddie missed Hero's crush on Taylor, and Beth's struggle to find the perfect Yo Mama joke to level at the Mayor.

Plus, we get into the unspoken rules of romance in campaigns, competing in the Hunger Games versus The Great British Bake Off, and the most bizarre thing everyone has bought online.

Quantum OFZENTRIX

Brennan Lee Muligan talked about why pcs find it easier to romance a th rather than other players, if it fizzles out or gets awkward then that npc can just go away forever but if that happens with a player that can be weird at the table.

This was the episode where season 2 really clicked with me. It’s great. Aside to this, in the loony toons tortoise and the hare episode Bugs Bunny dresses up like a tortoise, but gets beat up constantly by the hare gangs trying to slow the actual tortoise down. In the end, the tortoise wins and Bugs reveals he was dressed as a tortoise as well and the gangsters have been beating up the hare. All of the gangsters commit suicide by gun.

As for player romance, my sister and her girlfriend literally cannot play a game of DnD together without thier characters falling in love 😅 Like the characters can be SO incompatable but still end up together bc it's them

I think player-to-player romance can definitely be a really nice or very weird dynamic depending on how the table reacts. I have played out a player-to-player romance before and it was honestly really nice and cute. It added a different dynamic to the table and brought forth a new drive to those characters. Granted, it also helped that my group is made up of old friends and we all trust each other to maintain boundaries and be mature. I imagine that if we were a group of more casual friends, it could definitely have been weird, especially considering that the other player in that romance was the DM's girlfriend: who was the one that actually initiated the romance. On that subject though, our characters nearly did have children. They were supposed to go away together to live a normal family life on another plane for some amount of years and then return to the moment that they left in order fight the final battle, but the campaign was unfortunately put on an indefinite hiatus just before that happened.

That life advice stuff about your career that you guys talk about, I might put that on repeat because Goddamn I respect the hell out of you guys and what you're doing, and when Anthony is talking about "it's okay to pivot, forgive yourself, etc", that hit me ❤️ As a bloke who graduated in the pandemic in engineering who's anxious af about the field of engineering

I’m sure there’s other reason but I know one reason for the dead bees (and wasps and other insects) can be for witchcraft and spells and stuff

This one campaign I was in, we made some shit post smutty fanfic between two of the characters, this cat girl with an addiction to electricity and a grizzly angsty repressed soldier. In the world of RWBY, no less. And that's a joke we gave it to our DM because we'd worked hard it was f****** hilarious and stupid as s***

Let's just say as a result (punishment?), our DM made Richard roll for pullout game, and he rolled a nat 1. And because we didn't have time in the DM didn't want to role play it in game, we were tasked with writing Canon fiction about how Saphira found out she was pregnant as homework. My character had to explain how fucking sex works and how to use contraceptives. And we had to roll a character sheet for the unborn child. We never finished the campaign cause the player for Richard broke up with me and tore open the friend group, but it was hilarious and genuinely terrifying while it lasted.

Also, any time we wanted to roll low, we would shout "pullout game"

I have to say that my mom passed away a few weeks ago and I haven’t laughed as hard as I did, to the yo momma so dead jokes, in a long time 😂

Dead bees? Anyone who is into: oddities, foraging, studying insects, Victorian era inspired natural history collecting, may purchase such a thing. I've tried my hand at pinning insects for display, it's neat.
