Do you like Billie Ellish? Her early work was a little too dark pop for my taste. But when 'scorpion slut' came out in 2040 I think she really came into her own. Artistically and commercially

This was alright, this ep was a bit of a mess especially with consistency. Like Goth just disappearing, and forgetting the mascot head was kicked over the fence in the first ep when they were attacked by the baby but is now suddenly back on Will. Those aside good stuff as per usual.

Thoughts re:combat. Anthony removed rolling to hit because it sucks when you miss and do nothing on your turn. I think you miss out on a lot without crits and natural ones though. Maybe you could roll to hit, but just have a “miss” deal half damage instead of no damage at all?

They recorded something like three or four first episodes. The final piece I believe incorporated bits from all of them. Even if not, you could understand their forgetting those details. I'll agree that I too want continuity errors to be non-existent. But it's an actual play, not an audio drama. I went into a game session once remembering a detail that the whole rest of the table said never happened. I was devastated because I had planned my next actions on it. The table seemed to forget a lot of stuff. We got together weekly. I think the story happens as it needs to in the moment to make things interesting. Goth though.... Is an unseen servant. He didn't dissappear. He was never being seen in the first place. One thing of importance is, if something isn't funny or dramatically important.... Let it go. Which is what I imagine they will do. They'll have left there and not remember the lizard and the fire. *shrugs* so will you a few episodes from now.

Don't count on it. Crits and crit fails don't come up enough to be brought back for the amount of effort it would take to make ac interesting. I'm more concerned with things like dodge, spell saves, spells in general.... That are affected by this. Can you imagine not having rolls for fireball or disintegrate?

@Darryl Holiday II I’ll most definitely forget it down the line and it doesn’t matter obviously, though your excuse for Goth doesn’t really work as they stated he was completely visible changing the rules of the spell. Minus that excuse, yes I’m sure the episodes will continue to be great because these 5 are hilarious individuals. I’m just saying ep 2 was a bit messy.

I look forward to these episodes every Tuesday and the content that comes in. I don't play DnD at all anymore, but this really helps. A lot of fun is had in the session and I think that is what helps a lot. I used to forever DM and haven't done any DnD stuffs since. I appreciate all the efforts put into making a story as good as possible.

Very fun episode overall! Scorpion Slut made me laugh out loud. Only thing that bugs me a bit is Taylor just having whatever is convenient and needed at the time. It’s like a Batman level of prep-time which breaks any tension Anthony is trying to create.

Thats Freddie’s specialty, he loves to just breakdown the tension Anthony builds which leads to Anthony developing bigger harder moments for them to deal with, look at the last epi when he had the entire room planned out for what Freddy could try to do.
