The amount of care taken for each episode combined with the shear randomness of the improv and dice rolls blends to create the perfect storm. I have found the story to move me to tears, both through laughter and "the feels."

The pyramid: I remember I was listening in the kitchen cooking dinner and KEELED over hysterically laughing for like… a SOLID 5minutes. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and SO intrigued how Anthony was gonna explain, and SOOOO impressed with his “alright here we go” attitude. It was pivotal in motivating me to become a DM. I had to pause the episode and just sit for a bit to stop laughing and emotionally catch up. It was BONKERS I had a friend start listening, and every time she reported about an episode I just wanted to burst out “HAVE YOU GOTTEN TO THE PYRAMID YET!?!??”

The pyramid scene is what got me into Dungeons and Daddies and IM SO GLAD IT DID. I saw a clip of it on TikTok I think and it was so funny the way the scene plays out I was like well I HAVE to check this out. And I've never looked back ;)

As long as they're responsive to the audience later, I totally think they should take the first six episodes to just be in their world without getting feedback from us. ...other than the submission form, of course. I've put a ton of great stuff into the submission form already so they'll be set... ...USE MY IDEAS (low-key, half-playing... but for real)

The name Renesmee is how you know for sure Stephenie Meyer went to BYU. Utah Mormon culture pushes hard on giving your baby a unique name, so Salt Lake City is probably the toughest city in the world for substitute teachers doing roll call. I’m a die hard naddpod fan (finishing my 4th listen through of campaign one) and Freddie just hit the mail on the head for something that’s always been a tad bit unsettling about their audio mixing. It’s also why the trinyvale stuff sounds way better to me (since there’s a different editor.) one of the things I hope they’ll do going into their next campaign is outsource the sound design and let murph do what murph does best.

I remember this episode so vividly because when i listened the first time, I was driving. I laughed so hard I cried and I almost had to pull over because I couldnt see. The pyramid is my favorite thing to come out of the random objects. The idea of a huge sticky pyramid popping into existence makes me lose it every time.
