Somehow they landed this hilarious mess of many moods perfectly. Definitely left wondering if we're going to see Barry Oak at some point in Season 2...

Claire Serafini

Listening to this for the tenth time and I had to sprint across the room to stop it before the acoustic version of Alright started playing because I still bawl my eyes out Every. Single. Time.

Risotto

This is SUCH a fun episode

DADam Boopie

All I have to say is.... this podcast is amazing. I've laughed, I've cried, and oddly I've learned. I'm a new step-dad and Thank you Dongeons and Daddies. You'll never realized how much this podcast has helped me.

Carlos Sepeda

I’ve probably replayed this podcast 30 times now and it’s still just as good every time, amazing ending guys

Christopher

This is the third or fourth time listening to season one and the ending always gets me.

David Smith

When the day comes , where they stop the podcast. Ill be so fucking sad, 3rd time in season 1 and 2nd through season 2. Never stop as long as yall are having fun 💓💙

withinmyself

This has ruined scripted comedy for me. It's like you love magic, go to a magic show and then hang out with the magician and get to experience not only the magic show but why they love doing magic in the first place so you get to enjoy the passion as well as the art. Now, I fucking hate magic shows, but after this and taLking dad's, I feel like I'm in on the joke, I'm passionate about the project, and because they're so talented and funny to begin with, when they reach greatness they didn't even expect, it's a triumph I was rooting for because the element of random risk/reward through DnD mechanics keeps everyone just a bit more alert than if this was a traditional comedy project that was set in stone through writers we never know or see and actors were forced to give a shit about in order to make it even work. And every single person on this podcast do these insane impossible things that do seem like magic but come off as being effortless, passionate, and brilliant.

Loga @ Tier 1 Tabletop

3rd or 4th time listening all the way through season 1, that acoustic outro 🫠🫠🫠

Reece Page

Over a year as a patron and still havent had my shout out from Freddie, so, being the massive narcissist I am, I was convinced I was getting it in the finale but still no dice. Dang. That epilogue scene/cliffhanger though! My god!!!

Imo Flores

I’ve been following this dumb podcast since the very first episode. I’ve listen to over and over throughout the last couple of years. It has been comforting to listen to the cast laugh and have fun playing dnd. I am so grateful to all the hard work everyone out into this show.

Anonymous

sam mathews

It was a helluva ride dads, thank you for this crazy adventure

Gadi Welfeld

Omg, this was amazing. Thank you guys so much for this amazing story and journey. I started listening to this back in the beginning of COVID, and let me tell you that this was a huge reason I managed to get through this crazy "unprecedented time". I love this so much, thank you❤️

Dawn

Amazing, and well fucking done!

Anonymous

Michael Von Doom

Reality started to seep back into my mind when the end song played and I CRIED.

Anonymous

I'm speechless, this show brought me so much joy, it made me laugh, it made me cry and oh boy what a heartfelt ending and also WHAT THE FUCK ending fjdksks the ending song... Just, lots of emotions, lots of tears, just, thank you for this experience and I can't wait to see what else you guys will do with this series!

Anonymous

Came to the comments to say the same thing, glad I'm not alone.

Úlfdís

As the episode ended, I said to myself I haven't enjoyed an ending this much in ages. Everything was neatly wound up and emotionally resolved, I was so happy. And then we get to the post credit scene and I was BLOWN AWAY. Holy shit dude.

Anonymous

Amazing!!

Mehmet

I really loved how Paidens footsteps also sounded like a heart beat, after Walter snapped him out of whatever sort of altered state of mind zombification put him in, as if the recognition of Walter brang him back in a sense. Also, I've been listening to this show since episode 3 came out and it's been my favorite media of entertainment since the day I found it. That being said, im really looking forward to where this show is going, keep up the good work everyone!

Anonymous

This was so good ❤️

Anonymous

Damn could have ended on ep. 69

Lana Hignett

What a fucking ride. Thanks so much for getting me through one of the shittiest parts of my life. Can’t wait for next season. Until then, it’s been a pleasure, dads ❤️

Patrick Nan

My guess for why they didn't end on ep 69 is that they want to start season 2 on ep 69 😬

Jamier Williams

Call of Cthulhu for the next campaign 100%

Anonymous

Love you guys thank you so much

Nick Ellis

Best finale ever! Deffinetly feels like call of cthulu or at least styled that way! So excited for more can't wait!

Dalton Whitworth

Y’all let Maxton Waller know this is arguably the best intro/outro song for any piece of media I’ve heard. The 1920’s jazz version and the acoustic version just add to the depth of how good it is. Unsung hero for sure!!

Anonymous

What a beautiful and satisfying way to end the story of the daddies- bravo everyone!!

Anonymous

In the most sincere way, this was truly the most satisfying conclusion to an incredibly beautiful story that I could have ever hoped for. Truly beyond expectation and I am so grateful to all of you. Thank you.

Locke Cole

Omg the Ron part 😭😭😭😭😭 when I tell you I screamed

russellrd

I did not expect that ending! Well done.

Thank you!

I listened to this podcast on a whim during the summer of 2019. Binged the first 10 or so episodes in a few days while at work till I was caught up. Never would I have thought that waiting around for Tuesday for the next 2 years would be a big part of my week, but here we are. This podcast has helped me get through a lot. I have relistened through this podcast several times, and on certain episodes I still remember what I was doing while I was listening to them. Never would have thought a “not a bdsm” dnd podcast would have captured so much of me. To Will, Matt, Freddy, Beth, Anthony, and Paeden, thanks for all you have done with this podcast. Can’t wait for the next season. Go Doodlers! Except maybe not now? Dunno…

Anonymous

I can't believe that it's over now... a story I won't forget and thank you to the entire cast for giving me laughs all these years!

John Chatwell

*Silent nod of approval*

megisaman

ugh my heart….. love this show so much. can’t wait to see what comes next!

Terran Benedict

And just like that I slowly pull off my head phones, wipe a tear from my cheek, then put back on my headphones and hit play on Ep. 1 - A Man and His Handshake

Anonymous

Literally crying for no reason, I’m completely happy with how it ended was even laughing along like the whole time, but The slow version of the Outro at the end just got me lmao

Ryley Ellis

Can we get the tabs for the acoustic version of the theme song please?!

Baba

Cooo ending.

Cuddlesquad

So beautiful, we cried so hard at the end and don't regret a single moment of this series. Can't wait for more content from yall, thank so you much for such a great show and characters!

Levi Hooper

2 years and never once mentioned as a patron...but regardless... I'll be around another 2 years for sure. Loved this, so glad to support this content. This community was so great. And maybe learn a rule or two next season ;p

Envy Gul D' Cryso

I am the bad with words, but everything about this podcast has been so satisfying. Thank you all for the amazing story, and I can’t wait for the next season! ❣️🦊👍❣️

Anonymous

Same, been a patreon since about episode 10 o think it was.

Kayla S. Pingree-McCarthy

Holy shit. I am... sobbing. I don't think I realized how much this podcast had affected me. How much it helped me through some of the hardest, darkest months of my life. I cant fully express how grateful I am for everything you guys created. But hell, let's give it a try. Thank you, for everything. ❤

Anonymous

The acoustic outro from Maxton Waller was amazing 🔥🔥🔥

Anonymous

Humans need stories to connect to each other and make sense of our world. As a person who survived abuse and trauma, and is trying to parent past them, this show was a light in a dark place. This is the kind of art that heals through cheap dad jokes. Classic chaotic good! Thanks for the gift of this story. Moms take on the Doodler now?

FusRohNahSon

I cant believe they did the acoustic theme song ending montage on an audio format

Anonymous

Well, I've been listening to this podcast for a few years now and it's given me a lot of ideas to bring into my own campaigns with my friends. I've also been a fan of your work for a long time. I watched VGHS as a kid (and I still watch it today), my brother and I spent hours playing Borderlands. Episodes of DNDaddies got me through many a shift of my crappy jobs. Thank you for creating stories, all of you.

Anonymous

I stumbled into this podcast a few months ago and binged it non stop. I quickly fell in love with everything you all do , from the dad jokes to story arcs the emotional roller coaster was very real. I’m very happy that I joined your Patreon it’s an honor. Thank you for everything you all do in this show . The love and care Shines through every episode. Really looking forward to season two. This show has been a real Escape I really needed it. Love you all ! Ps. Beth May your rap on the rocks rock EP was electric!!!!

Anonymous

Amazing finale. I listen to podcasts on my hour commute, so Wednesdays are always a special treat of either a new episode or a Talking Dad. This one had me veering all over the freeway with both laughter and tears (especially when Scam Likely brought in the mustachioed Rogue). I started listening back around when episode 8 came out I think, and it has been a long and wonderful journey. Thank you Anthony, Beth, Freddie, Matt, and Will for making such amazing heartfelt content, and to everyone else who contributes and works behind the scenes. I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoy listening to the rapport you all have together.

Mak

Hey Anthony? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT ENDING???? AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! But in all seriousness I have adored this whole journey. I spotted a few people talking about it on Tumblr when only four episodes were out and being a DnD nerd I was always excited to see what others were doing. This journey has been a barrel of fun, and I can’t wait to see what you all do next!!!

Charleen Lamphere

ACTUAL goosebumps at the end!!! Ahhh!!

Jake W

JESUS TITTY FUCKIN CHRIST!!! what a fucking ending!

Keith Robinson

Amazing job by everyone. I couldn't imagine much of a better ending (except maybe more than a credit role for Jenna & Ashley), but I have absolutely no regrets on spending $20 a month on you. You've help keep my sanity over the pandemic. I know whenever I'm tired of music I can pick up any episode and be content for an hour. And this $20 is bordering on needed spending rather than pleasure spending.

Anonymous

Truly incredible finale for a truly incredible series. Ron getting the puppy that looks like Rouge gave me all the happy tears. Plus the acoustic theme song at the end...SOBBING. This podcast is the reason I got into DnD, not knowing anything about it before listening. I know have a nice lil DnD group that I love playing with. I can't wait to see what comes next!!!

Alex Wade

WORST IDEA TO LISTEN TO THE ENDING DURING WORK IM TRYING NOT TO SOB MY EYES OUT

Anonymous

Me packing for a weeklong trip to Disney, sobbing uncontrollably listening to the ending 😭😭 this was amazing that you all so much!!!!

Tom!

Loved the outro music! Also that Freddie has been pronouncing Courtney’s name wrong all this time. Can’t wait to see what the show does next.

Anonymous

Thank you all. Really glad I found yall. It was great looking forward to these episodes. Looking forward to your next project.

Trystn Brown

This show means more to me than nearly any other piece of media out there. Been listening from episode 5. Thank you so much. That being said, Henry and Mercedes were definitely having sex in front of Autumn at the end 😅

Emily

I have that empty feeling you get when you finish a good book series. This podcast was part of my everyday for such a long time. I can’t wait till the next season comes and the emptiness is gone.

Anonymous

This podcast had me in tears several times and the amount of laughter I had during the shows were amazing. I’m so grateful for the podcast and everyone on it. I’m so extremely excited for season 2 and to strut around in my new merch!

Matilda

Guys guys guys!! This podcast has meant so much to me over the years, especially as a long time listener. Anthony, you are a radical DM. Seriously, I can't imagine corralling all these wet n wild wackos and spinning their goof wool into story yarn. Freddie, your sound design is so *chef hand emoji* and I can't even say how much I love Glenn. Willllll, your acting as Henry is so good, I don't care what you say. This crunchy dude makes me FEEL. MatTHEW. Darryl's characterization has made me tear up many a time, (not even just at the sad parts) because Darryl and Grant's relationship reminds me of my dad and I. Beth, Ron's story has made me cry more times than I can count. You portray healing and trauma so well, but you're also so funny it's unreal (Also I'm hoping to get your book soon, fingers crossed I get it for Christmas!). Idk if Jimmy is a Patron but if he is, you're such a bro Jimmy 👍 Jodie is the worst and I love him. Anywho, I'm deeply grateful to all of you for bringing such a fantastic story into the world, and sorry for the long ass message. Also, perhaps a weird compliment, but your guys's laughs are always so nice to listen to. Very soothing, very heart healing, 420/10.

Anonymous

It was an absolute blast and I can’t wait to see what comes next. <3

Anonymous

Thanks to you all for such a great journey (which I have listened to twice through and I am considered a third listen). I can't wait to see what happens in the season. Great ending.

Reagan Carpenter

Damn, Buying JO Crystals as we speak.

How did you manage to convince freddy to not number the final episode 69???

Skeewoahski Brudda

The Walter Paeden persuasion moment has fucking got me, my eyes are welling up with tears, and I have a feeling this is not going to be the last time throughout this episode, GG daddies, GG

Cole White

Probably my favorite ending ever, fuckin love this podcast

Anonymous

Legit mad that its 68 pt 2 and not 69 unacceptable 🤣🤣

Paid In Paedens

What a season.... it has been such a good ride, looking forward to Will's one shot and season 2. Also while slipping in some praise, Story Break was dope, I'm going to miss it.

Anonymous

thanks anthony for being such a good dm, you never say no and your improve is second to none

Jonathan Moonsammy

Was wondering what Anthony was gonna do with the Doodler (DUDE-ler, heh heh). Was of too much importance to leave and the CoC 3 shot was fire.

Jay Boucher

Holy H E double hockey sticks.... One heck of an episode, and a damn fine finale to an incredible season of my favourite podcast, listened to the whole season 3 times now, and most of the bonus content, love to all you guys!! X

Mike Deme

What an amazing story. Well done guys. 2 things..... 1. Do Dragons have (pierceable) ears?? And 2. It would he hilarious if season 2 was the same characters and Daryl smoked weed the whole time 😂

Anonymous

The acoustic outro music really hit me.

Anonymous

If the acoustic outro music were available on Spotify, that would make my week.

Firwood Creative

Dude, same. I was on my way to work at 7am and I'm like "how tf am I supposed to just go to work like all this shit didn't just happen?"

Jackson Holmes

Okay so time to be one of those guys, but this series has been with me for almost a year, and it's been a constant since then and family has moved hours away and I moved to college and my support system girlfriend is four hours away now and this has been there and as the ending music started playing the lyrics just kinda hit me. Thank y’all for everything and making us laugh and cry and wait week by week for every episode. Thanks :) Nonparasocially btw don’t wanna get too close 😏

Anonymous

The musical outro for this episode was just not fair Yall making me sob like a babe

Connor Johnstone

I can't believe I'm fucking crying at 43:45 hahahahaha

I can't believe how excellent this has been thank you all for everything you've done!

Sadly They forgot about the blunt from episode1

B.K.

I have been put through the fucking wringer with this episode… Holy shit I was laughing I was weeping I was yelling and the emotional whiplash has been truly exquisite. 👌👌 I’ve never had a piece of storytelling mean as much to me as DnDads:Oddessy, and when I say thank you I mean it with all the gravitas I can muster. Truly, thank you all for taking this idea and molding it into this wild, hilarious, and touching thing. It has been a joy listening and anticipating every next episode, and I look forward to the future of this story. :)

Anonymous

I'm pretty sure their time travel shit means it doesnt exist anymore

Anonymous

Tears, of laughter and joy! So great guys! Love listening to y’all!

Second listen through with ep-TD experience after TD1-7 dropped. Well. So much I'd forgotten. And yes. Yes. Now i have done listen 2 with TD, only one final TD and it's season 2 time!
