1. I absolutely love what you guys have done with normalizing therapy. 2. Y’all’s ability to go from stinky butt humor to true, intense, palpable vulnerability is *chef’s kiss* beautiful. 3. A small request… I (and I’m sure several others) would greatly appreciate a solid stream of Freddy’s background laughter played in growing intensity as if it were some super Saiyan power up of laughter. Thanks guys! Keep up your great work!

Re-subbed for Matt's performance. And that is not in anyway to diminish the other amazing performances this episode, but my God, Matt. To keep things together this long, and to have that moment with Frank/Paeden, it just makes Darryl so fucking real. It's honestly incredible. Heart-rendingly-brutally-brilliantly-real. I think it's incredible how much you all give to these characters, and this episode really let us in, and I personally want to say that I truly appreciate it

Am i the only one who thought that everyone but Freddy showed legit emotion. Matt hit hard. Especially being hit with something i grew up with myself.

Agree entirely on the normalizing therapy! (Art therapist here) I went to Susquehanna when their mascot was the crusaders, thankfully it’s the River hawks now, but by a small margin we were almost the land sharks.

gosh. these last couple of episodes and these talking dads episodes too have all these lessons i wish my dad would teach me but him being a messed up veteran and also being born in a time in what being a man is stunted him in a sense and just hearing the words emotional dexterity made me realize oh yeah i don't really have that i have like maybe 3 moods. excited/laughing. 3am/alone depression and neutral so hearing my 4 other 4 fictional dads work through stuff and dish out such zingers like it's okay to be angry its not okay to be cruel and its okay to feel bad its not okay to blame yourself for feeling bad. this is shit i needed and I'm glad someone even though it was indirect said it and i heard it.
