Anthony was perfect in every beat here. He planned a great session that must have been hard to act. I respect the hell out of that. Beth stuck with it, but I feel like Anthony took the cake on this one. The other daddies really didn’t engage with the tone of the session, they deflected with humor and did everything they could to avoid immersing themselves in the pretend abusive situation. I respect that too.

Earlier in the episode when Freddie made the goblin joke, beth mentions she has written down "sugma" for a similar joke. At the end of the episode she tries to do the joke and asks anthony to let him have it.

Make next episode the boss fight. End it. Give me season 2 of “moms trying to find their husbands in the forgotten realms” cuz even if it was just 5-6 episodes it would be a great dose of feminine energy to the podcast. Also just to give more story to the real hero’s of this podcast: the moms waiting for y’all to stop doing 5 footers and get ur friggen kids home.

I kinda had my hopes up for a super dark, heavy episode. There are a few times when Beth has said she loves heavy movies and stuff, so I thought this was gonna be the one. I’d love to have an episode where they actively avoid jokes and just make it completely serious. I’m super curious how that would go.
