What makes Yoon relate to Yeojun’s situation is also that his father abandoned him and his mom since he was a young kid. So like he said, he really only had his mom and was mostly alone. He does have cousins and will visit or hang out with them, but for the most part he didn’t have siblings and his mom was always working to raise Yoon. When I first watched this episode my heart hurt for poor Yeojun. I thought his mom legit died as he said, but then when the grandmother revealed that his parents divorced and his dad is working in the countryside and his mom just left/disappeared from his life. It’s just.. I don’t know..how can a parent ever leave his/her kids??! I understand the father not always being around cuz he’s working at a different city. I hope he’s spending more time with Yeojun now that he’s older. Oh and to answer your questions..YES.. the kids/parents still very much keep in touch with WINNER and still show support to their teacher until now. They always send bday wishes to their teachers or show their reactions to WINNER comebacks or solo projects. It’s so wholesome..in fact some of the kids/parents still go to WINNER’s concerts.
