iKON had such a huge fanbase globally even before debut, they were famous in Korea but even more famous with global fans. After they debut, they garnered almost 960,000 fans from Japan alone (this is based on their dome concerts that they sold out). They even had such a huge fanbase in China since after debut, they joined this Chinese Survival show and won first place. From what I know, they still had a huge Chinese fanbase when they did Kingdom not sure about now. As for the eliminations last ep, i believed it was a mock elimination since from the beginning of the show, YG said fans are 100% in control on who's gonna end up debuting. To your comment about which countries like which members I think Japan favors Jinhwan, Philippines favors Chanwoo, I’m not sure who Korean favors I would guess Bobby, but they can be fickle. However, most ikonic are pretty proud about being ‘bias wrecked’ which just means you’ll have your bias and then depending on the weather you’ll switch it up.
