Yoon became leader permanently after WIN. They talked about it before during debut promotions. Mino said being leader put a lot of weight on his shoulders. It was a lot of responsibility and even though initially he was upset about the leader change. He was actually grateful that Yoon was able to navigate and guide the group and they became WINNER. Actually Mino has such a bright and fun loving personality, so he felt more comfortable just being main rapper, part of composer line, and face of the group. Yeah Mino can be serious and focused when it comes to work and music. But I think Yoon is the kind of leader/member that is very observant and knows how to handle tough situations. As we saw throughout WIN, whenever there was a disagreement between Mino and Taehyun. It was Yoon who talked to Mino and gave him advice/feedback about the way he talked to Taehyun. So even then we saw leadership qualities in Yoon..even Hoony when he’s teaching choreography.

Oh and to inform you lol the two members who you felt are extroverted are actually introverted and Yoon is an extrovert. But obviously things change when you get older. Taehyun is introverted, but he tries to be more engaging and connect with the other members in WINNER TV. So the whole awkwardness between Yoon and Taehyun is because they both honestly wanted their own rooms lol. They must have been tired from rehearsals as shown yoon fell asleep while Taehyun was working on WINNER TV theme song. You’ll learn in the next episode that with Yoon and Taehyun it’s a quiet comfort between them. Hoony and Mino have the same humor and we call them dumb and dumber duo. Jinwoo is the middle man and peacemaker. Yoon is in between leader and part of maknae line..so he does have a mature/calm personality, but he still has a playful outgoing side that doesn’t really get shown. But after debut and when they got to more variety shows, he shows it. I just think during debut time, he really went on leader mode. Presently, Hoony and Jinwoo are introverts. Yoon and Mino are extroverts, but recently Mino became more introverted. Yoon is definitely an extrovert LOL
