I think rice for breakfast is normal. I’ve seen a lot of idols do it and they seem to have it for breakfast in kdramas too. I’ve seen the same in Chinese, Japanese & Thai dramas too

Ahh, that makes sense. Tbh I can't really talk because we have ' Fry ups ' for breakfast over here in the UK and that's definitely worse haha

I forgot where I read this but Koreans, especially those elder ones must have rice for every meal, or else they will feel uncomfortable/off. Hence, they eat rice for breakfast too. With more influence from the West, the young generation accepts meal without rice (like pastries), but the traditional still prefer to have rice for most of the meals. For 2pm members, I remember Jun. K said somewhere that Junho needs to eat rice for meal whenever it's possible. Junho admitted to it too. Most Asian countries share this practice, except those got influenced by Western culture.
