V G (Zay)

\o/ time for some of the best performances on the show!! ONF absolutely murdered their stage. We Must Love is an absolutely killer song and this arrangement (combined with the intro and outro pulled from MoscowMoscow) is totally affecting. For me this is the best stage on the whole show--a perfect combination of story, performance, vocals, everything. They had more backup dancers this time but the black suits and masks made them not overwhelm the stage and the way they did every formation and angle was so creative! YooA was an inspired addition, in the dance practice they have another dancer as stand-in and she does great but YooA is just something special. Another performance where the camera angles missed a lot of great details, but overall it was interesting without being too too complicated. Golden Child had a less defined storyline for sure, which imo gave them less depth compared to ONF's: but the overall stage was great, and I LOVE the violins. They did a really great job featuring that without it fitting awkwardly into the overall stage, and of course the performance was super solid! I think they also suffered a little for having a less interesting arrangement than the groups before and after them--their vocals I know are really solid, so I think they could have been mixed better. They did great! Oneus is a group I really like and admire for their performances and they didn't disappoint in this one, even having to work around Seoho's injury. The stage was too messy and complex for me to put it as my favorites, though the individual tableaus they did for each member were interesting and creative. Lit is one of my favorite Oneus songs, and they didn't change the arrangement as much as I think they could have but they didn't really have to to suit it to the performance. Verivery is my favorite group in RTK apart from ONF, so I was SO anticipating ther performance and I was not let down! (VIXX is one of my ults so the visit from Ravi was an especially nice surprise, and your relieved gasp when he approved gave me a good laugh XD) Performing a b-side really shows their confidence in their discography and it was deserved confidence. The concept is the best in the round apart from ONF's marionette one and they performed it with creepy conviction. (The original choreo/version of Photo is also really good and very different--you could probably get a good video out of comparing the RTK dance practice with the original if you ever wanted to!) TOO were really hurt by being such new rookies that they literally didn't have another song to perform than the one they already did in the intro! They are really talented performers, but it also really suffered from coming right after Verivery with their impactful concept bc TOO's concept wasn't particularly strong or exciting. The Boyz's song was really good and it had a pretty good concept! It just failed to grab me again bc it was too overwhelming for my tastes. Too much Stuff and too much Stunts--though, again, it's not like I can't tell why the others liked them.

ONF KILLED IT. They ate that stage up. The arrangement with Moscow Moscow just gave it such a magical almost creepy feel. The white masks that looked as if they where floating. The way they kept those marionette or puppet like movements through out the choreo. Hyojin’s and MKs vocals!!! The emotion! GoldenChild was next for me. Joochan ate, slept and breathed that violin 🎻. Poor kid put so much pressure on himself. And it was FANTASTIC! All his hard work paid off. I agree with the above post - there was just way tooo much going on in the OneUs Lit stage! Way too much chaos. It’s a shame cause that song is awesome. The BOYZ well I appreciate certain aspects of the stage - especially the way Juyeon nija jumped that dude to steel the crown. I didn’t like the song arrangement. Sorry. They have so many many good song. Ah well.
