As mentioned in tonight's video, the anniversary of Philip's first appearance on Cracking The Cryptic has just passed.  To celebrate, Philip released a pack of 10 sudokus which we thought you'd like to see.

If you own our SudokuPad app then this link will allow you to load all the puzzles into it.

If you don't have SudokuPad then you use the attached document to access the puzzles.

We haven't tried all the puzzles yet but those we've looked at have been brilliant!  Enjoy.

Dear Philip, great puzzles and some of them GAS level indeed (good for me). Will there be any hints or alike at some point in time for those who can't solve (some of) them?

Anonymous

^^ I am having trouble with the King Chess moves one, any hints?

Anonymous

Or dear Simon & Mark ...............

I couldn't do it without some heavy bifurcation either. Definitely not GAS-level, that one (and none of the others, I think). The region sudoku I couldn't do at all, but will try again.

Same, others were manageable but the region one was savage

A little bit of chain is necessary I think, but I might be wrong (and I think that chain is not bifurcation). You can DM me in discord if you want hint (Crusader175), cause I don't want to spoiler it here. :)

Done the first two and I’m loving these so far. They’re definitely much more my speed than the Lockout Lines puzzles, most of which I couldn’t do without help from the Discord community.

Though I often have difficulties with Philip's puzzles for some reason, I've been finding these quite fun. I definitely agree that Simon must try Region for the Stars if he hasn't already. It's really a brilliant fun puzzle and I believe it would be right up his alley.

Great fun. Goldilocks level puzzles. Huge thank you to Philip for these.

Are we getting a solution video for this? Because I need a push on some of these lol

Does anyone know how to import these to the Windows version of SudokuPad?
