Raven hadn't just refused to make a portal to Qrow, she also refused to let the heiress nor her daughter leave her camp. In retaliation the two tried to run out guns blazing, knocking out many of Raven's bandits in the process. Wanting to lesson the damage as much as she could Raven lifted her hand and aimed at the two girls fighting. Taking a deep breath, Raven tapped into a piece of the spring maiden magic she hadn't really tried yet, other than clearing the occasional tree.

Her hand sparkled as her eyes caught fire, sending a beam of light that zapped both Weiss and Yang, reducing them to specks in the dirt and grass. Looking around, almost every bandit that tried was out for the count, with a sigh Raven walked over only to miss her shrunken captives. Her eyes scanned the ground back and forth, unable to see either girl, however a set of teeny footsteps in the mud a few cm over made her realise they probably just ran. Following that direction, Raven searched her camp grounds, not able to find either of them.

They never made it very far, Weiss freaking out and beginning to scream as Raven's murky foot descended, almost flattening them both in a single step, Yang on the other hand was just focusing on running, determined to get them both to safety. She was faster, but had only just gained a little ahead of Weiss before turning. "Come on, we have to keep going, she hasnt spotted us yet and if we stop we'll be-" Yang cut herself off and skidded to a stop at the sight and sound of Raven's foot dropping on Weiss, the toes almost crushing Yang too.

Yang simply stared on in shock, the sound of Aura breaking combined with a sick squelch of tearing flesh and crunching of bones... Weiss was barely in tact. The poor girl's body stuck to the sole of Raven's foot as it lifted once more as if it was nothing. With tears in her eyes, Yang just continued to run and run...

Until she met Weiss' faith on the opposite foot.

Raven found them, of course, but not until they were unrecognisable smears of blood and flesh, and it wasnt like any other shrunken humans were around, it wasnt hard to realise what it was on her feet~

Great story you paired with this one! A neat idea for how the volume could have gone different~
