Hey guys,

It’s been a couple months since the last update, and both Dzahn and myself have slowly been getting back to work on Santa Lucia and Homecoming after the emotional roller coaster that was the end of 2021 and the start of 2022 for us. Thankfully, things have calmed down, and I hope you all have been doing well in the meantime.

This build marks the introduction of a brand new character for Carlos’s route, and while my goal was to finish her sprite by the time of her introduction, circumstances made it that only the sketch made it through for this update. I plan on finishing her sprite fully (as well as working on other tasks) by next month.

Of course, a new character means new story content, and this build sees us all the way through the end of of Act 2 for Carlos. In other words, as of today, Carlos has now officially caught up to Bryan, and we will begin work next month on Nate!

With all the shared content having already been written during Bryan’s route, and being shared for all three of our leads, Carlos’s updates were entirely focused on his exclusive content. That’s why by comparison, we were able to get through his route much faster than Bryan’s, and as such it’s reasonable to expect a similar pace for Nate’s.

This should cover everything for this month. As always, we want to thank you all for your continued support, and hope we’ll see through this crazy journey together.
