Yeesh, the more we learn, the more apparent it becomes that the poor girl desperately needs a hug. And actual friends, so Masako already acting like her big sister's probably a really good start. Anyway, is it reasonable to assume 'she views herself as something of a jinx' as part of the reason she's standoffish these days? On top of the stress of her home life and potential terrible school experiences, of course. Also, this is the second week in a row you've uploaded three pages. I might sound like a broken record, but you're not overdoing it, right?

Considering herself a jinx is definitely part of it. I'd admittedly just not had much going on the past couple weeks, with not much to do but draw! Things have been a little busier for me recently though, so we are gonna return to two pages next week.
